Deeper heel seat and heel pad

The rather deep concave shape in the heel area supports the plantar fascia and keeps the heel firmly in its natural position. The foot in the sandal therefore has a secure support almost similar to that in a closed shoe. The heel pad activates the calf muscles, stabilises the hindfoot and improves walking and coordination.

Internal and external longitudinal vaults

The vaults that run longitudinally to the lateral edges of the insole wrap the bones of the tarsus both internally and externally and give the foot the necessary stability during walking.

Transverse vault

The vault that runs transversely in the centre of the footbed serves to stabilise the metatarsal bones. In this way the transverse vault gives the foot a naturally straight and secure support.

Retractor

The front part of the insole has intermediate reliefs in the toe area. Thanks to the spreader, the toes remain relaxed and open in their natural position. Furthermore, the pads ensure natural mobility of the toes.

The front part of the insole has a particularly accentuated shape towards the top. The raised edge of the footbed protects the toes while walking.
