The MM 450-X Noise-Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Headset from Sennheiser is a high-quality wireless headset that allows you to enjoy your music with virtually any Bluetooth-enabled device, as well as make phone calls with Bluetooth-enabled multimedia smartphones. The headset is compatible with iPhones, iPods, iPads, Android devices, and more. It also supports the aptX codec so you can enjoy wireless audio from aptX-capable sources.
The headset features Sennheiser's active NoiseGard 2.0 noise-cancellation technology, which reduces environmental noise by up to 90% so you can focus on your music instead of your surroundings. It also has a TalkThrough function that lets you hear your surroundings without having to take off the headphones, ideal for listening to announcements or having a brief conversation.
The headset has a collapsible design for terrific portability. The on-ear design and soft ear cushions provide excellent comfort and noise isolation. Patented DuoFol transducers deliver detailed, natural sound. The integrated microphone is invisible and out of the way, but provides excellent vocal pickup. Controls for volume control, track skip, play/pause, and answer/end call are conveniently built right into the headset, giving you full control without having to remove the headset.
In situations where wireless listening isn't ideal, a detachable cable is included that turns the headset into a pair of wired headphones. The cable has a standard 3.5mm plug for compatibility with MP3 players, CD players, laptops, and more. A dual-prong airplane adapter is included for use with in-flight entertainment systems. Due to the nature of Bluetooth technology, users may experience a slight audio latency when watching video on a portable device. This is a characteristic of all Bluetooth headsets.
